Terms of Service
Last updated: 12 June 2026
These terms govern your use of the 3lite Education website (3lite.io), the student portal, and our tutoring services. By submitting a booking request or enrolling in sessions, you agree to these terms.
1. Our services
3lite Education provides tutoring for HKDSE and IB students through in-person sessions at our centre, live online (Zoom) classes, and video-based courses. Group sessions are limited to a maximum of four students.
2. Bookings and trials
- A booking request submitted through the website is an enquiry, not a confirmed enrolment. We confirm requests by email, normally within 24 hours, subject to availability.
- Trial sessions are offered as described at the time of booking.
- For students under 18, bookings must be made or approved by a parent or guardian.
3. Fees and payment
Fees are quoted before enrolment and are payable as set out in your enrolment confirmation or invoice. Fees may be revised with advance notice; revisions do not affect sessions already paid for.
4. Cancellations and rescheduling
- Please give at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a session. Specific make-up and refund arrangements are confirmed at enrolment.
- Sessions missed without notice may be charged in full.
- If we must cancel a session, we will offer a make-up session or a credit.
5. Conduct
Students are expected to participate respectfully, whether in person or online. We may suspend or end enrolment, without refund of the affected session, where conduct disrupts other students or staff.
6. Materials
Notes, worksheets, recordings, and other materials we provide are for the enrolled student's personal study only. They may not be reproduced, shared, or sold without our written permission.
7. Portal accounts
Portal credentials are personal. You are responsible for keeping them confidential and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
8. Liability
We provide tutoring with reasonable care and skill, but we do not guarantee specific examination results. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability arising from the services is limited to the fees paid for the sessions giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Hong Kong law.
9. Privacy
Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.
10. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms from time to time; the version on this page applies. These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Hong Kong courts.
